Danny Ford
A Noongar marman (man) with connections to the Wadjuk, Yuet, Ballardong and Wilman clans, Danny has carved out a successful career as a consultant after almost 30 years in the WA public service. Holding a Bachelor of Social Work and a Diploma of Teaching, Danny has worked in child protection, family support, housing, mental health and Aboriginal affairs.
As a founding Director of the Noongar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Danny is committed to making change and creating opportunities for the Noongar people – with employment opportunities and business ownership being a key focus. Danny also sits on the boards of the Clontarf Foundation and the Wungening Aboriginal Corporation.
Believing the world of business is the last frontier for the Noongar Nation and the wider Aboriginal community to recover from the impact of dispossession, Danny wants to see Aboriginal people become “the owners of the means of production”.
